Already 2016 has seen this innovating R&D group expand from the ground floor to a very exiting multifaceted team of dedicated professionals. We are very excited. Right now we have an opening for an Electronics Engineering specialist who has specialised in hardware engineering, or “firmware” if you like. Traditionally, Assembler and C- programming were the baseline skills needed for this type of role, and while this holds true for this position there are some modern adaptions we’d like to see like Renesas and, in a perfect world, exposure to other Microprocessors such as Atmel, ST Micro, Cypress, Microchip and ARM-but you probably know all this, as a professional design Engineer!
This is not a back-room position; it is a position of trust in not only the ability to get on with the job, but to be able to work well as a functional part of a dynamic team who are focused on the commercial outcome on a rather fascinating project that is pretty much guaranteed to hold your interest. The standard tool set applies of testing, compliance, quality assurance, and all of our favorite-documentation!
To fit in you will need some great interpersonal skills and written skills. (We will be examining your application carefully!). Interstate applicants will be considered, as indeed will be any applicants who have a full Australian working visa.
Remuneration will be in line with current commercial considerations and will be negotiated to reflect qualifications and experience. Interested?
Please make your application out to David Christie FIMC, Human Resources Consultant, for confidential consideration.
